Services

Vertex Scientific Editorial provides scientific and academic editing, proofreading, journal formatting and submission support, reference support, literature and evidence review, and translation between English and Spanish, French and Spanish, and English and French in either direction. Vertex does not guarantee publication, journal acceptance, grades, funding, or any specific outcome. Vertex does not fabricate data, write assignments for academic credit, or provide authorship or ghostwriting that violates institutional, publisher, or journal rules.

Project agreement

A project begins only after the client accepts in writing the scope, price, deadline, deliverables, revision limits, and payment terms. The client confirms that they have the right and authority to submit all materials. The client remains responsible for factual accuracy, authorship, citations, research ethics, permissions, journal compliance, and final submission.

Quotes, payment, and turnaround

Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 14 days. Custom projects require a 50% deposit before work begins; the remaining balance is due before delivery of final editable files. Turnaround begins after the deposit and all required files and instructions are received. Rush work and work outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees.

Revisions

Unless otherwise stated in the written quote, one revision round limited to the original agreed scope may be requested within seven calendar days after delivery. New material, changed instructions, or expanded scope requires a new quote.

Confidentiality

Client materials are treated as confidential, subject to applicable law and necessary service providers. See our Privacy Policy for additional details.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, Vertex’s total liability related to a service is limited to the fees paid for the affected service.
